Hellow everyone I just stumbled while researching colt 1911 acp's wanted to say hellow an introduce myself names Don And I like what I see here very well done. I have posted a Colt super commander on the handguns for sale page and expect it's going to be gone rather quickly since I got E-mail about 10 minutes after i posted it, guess I'll be needing a T-shirt LOL

TFL has alot of active shooters and a wealth of info. I have not seen any subject offered that did not get an in depth response. I am in SoCal also. Where do you shoot?

Can you please clarify the "Super" part of the LW Commander? What makes it different from the other aluminum framed .45 ACP Colt Commanders of the time?

I don't know anything about em' but it says "COLT SUPER COMMANDER" AND NEXT TO THE SERIAL NUMBER IT'S GOT THE INITIALS L.W. btw THIS IS A .38 CALIBER
 
Thank-you, that does clarify it for me. I thought that it might be the case, but wanted to make sure. It is a Colt Commander in .38 Super.
