I bought myself a fun little plinker this weekend. The idea of having a .22 with a 25 round clip sounded like fun. I haven't had any fun yet though, because just about every empty case gets caught in the chamber. It was a used pistol but I couldn't see any visible damage to the extracter. Is it worth it to take it to a 'smith? Or did I just buy myself a paperweight?

If its like the sport.22 i had,the only ammo it would reliably feed and eject was CCI's mini-mags.I bought the gun for cheap plinking and the CCI round defeats the purpose.After one trip to the factory for repairs and having the same problem i sold it.Sorry!

Might be the ejector. The ejector on the gun is a molded plastic part! I think it might even be part of the frame. At any rate, you might try it with higher velocity rounds and give the gun a good cleaning before you try it again.
