Looking at an Interport G3. Are these the same as the SW3, or are they built on an FMP receiver with SW3 parts. Where is the barrel manufactured? Any info about them is appreciated.
Some of the later SW3's were built on FMP receivers, just like the Interports. My understanding is that the Interports were assembled by SW and sold through AA-Ok and another business (Hi-Vel?). Also, the kits used to assemble them were supposed to be new HK-91 kits from a licensed HK contractor.
Have you checked the archives at www.hk91.com ? There's been quite a bit of discussion about the Interports and the various SW3 versions over there.
Thanks for the reply, in all my searches for info this is the best I've come across. I did post the question on hk91.com but not much response. The Interport sounds like a good one and have comitted to purchase with hopefully no regret.
I can only remember one complaint about the Interport clones and that complaint was rather minor, minor enough that I don't remember. Otherwise, great review have been the norm.
