IMHO, it looks like an AR-AK hermaphrodite. (Red, white & blue + more red = purple -- who wants a purple destructive device?)

I still think $2500 would get a very nice Browning or Beretta.

Probably not, a rib and beads work a lot better than raised AR+AK sights.

If the only other gun you have ever known is the M4, I guess it would make it simple learning how to use it......the question becomes using it for??????

The Saiga is cheaper, has readily available and more affordable drums and stick magazines, and isn't a DD.

Is there any reason to buy one of these instead of a Saiga or three?

As a collectible, I doubt a Saiga will ever come close to the cash value these things seem to demand.
