Internal Hammer Taurus: Really?

I recall reading (somewhere) that Taurus would be making "hammerless" versions of its .38 Special snubbies - something like the S&W Centennials. Since then, though, I've neither seen nor heard anything on the subject.

Was it just a rumor (or a hallucination ;) )?

Hammerless or concealed hammer?

Taurus has CH models all over the place, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they came out with an enclosed hammer version for CCW duty -- they just make sense! I haven't heard anything about this, but I'm not an industry insider. :)

The Taurus concealed hammer version isn't an "internal hammer", they just ground down the hammer to make it flush with the frame and DAO. There is still a chance of jamming the gun if it ever needed to be fired from inside a pocket.

I haven't heard about them making a concealed hammer either.
They may figure that's a small niche to fill. I'd rather see a version similar to the Bodyguard, I like the SA capability.
