It will be interesting to see what the next generation of night vision scopes will be like with this technology.

While nifty, probably not as cool as what digital NV will become.

As for the contact lens aspect, I will be interested in seeing how they power a contact lens that will do all the things necessary to adjust for lighting conditions. The concept sounds cool, but at the same time is highly impractical.
