Earlier today I was going through some photographs off of a Utah History site run by the State of Utah. One of the pics was the handgun display from a hardware store in downtown Salt Lake City. The picture details says the pic was taken in February 1912. Sure wish I had the guns in the pic in my collection.

The thing I noticed is one of the revolvers in the lower right of the pic seems to have a detachable stock and vernier sights on it.

i may be wrong,,,

But isn't that a Stevens target pistol?

.

Nope, Stevens. What they then called a Pocket Rifle.

Considering the variety of guns then and now available, that is a way higher perecentage of the market on display in one store than you will see today.

South Korean Ship-back guns of WWII and K-Conflict

If these don't get Øbama-fied, there might be a waiting-list for any Thompson SMGs in these crates! How long does a Class III docket of papers take to get?

Infinity.
There is no provision for release of automatic weapons to American Commoners, not of guns not already on the registry before 1986.
