I was watching TV and they were showcasing ShotShow 2014. They showed this very weird grip. One of the guys that was doing the showcasing said that it was ugly for sure, but the gun pointed great. For $20 it might be something to check out for you J-Frame guys out there (I don't have one, I got a SP101.. but figured somone might be interested.

Here is a link with pictures for the new Ergo Grip

Look funny, but I wonder how it feels in hand

El Paso.....

I'll say; El Paso. ;)
It's a nifty design & looks ok but Id stick with a Spegel Boot Grip or a CT lasergrip(compact).

Around 2/3 years ago, retired cop & SWAT unit commander Gary Paul Johnson put out a brief article about a J frame grip with a spare/hollow section for keys, rounds, batteries, etc.
It looked like a gimmick but every so often some "ground breaking" handgun grip rolls out.

From the article:

The thing is the owner of ERGO was tired of grips that made the “J” frame point down, point up but never seemed to point straight.

Clint (I didn't catch a last name) must have hands shaped very differently from mine because, in my hands, most J-Frame grips make the revolver point straight. Those grips look like, in my hands, they would make the revolver point very high.

Meh. Grips are so individual that it's impossible to make one grip fit everyone. It's and interesting design, and might work well for some people, but I'll withhold judgement until I actually see one.

The more I look at it, the more it looks like some kind of bat wing. Maybe that is Batman's j-frame snubby.. his "Bat Gun", lol

*BAM* *POW* *ZOINK* *BLAMMO*

oh, wait, that's only 4 shots....

*BANG*

there ;)

What it makes me think of is orthopedic shoes, that some people have to wear to accommodate a foot problem or short leg.

Maybe it helps the inventor. I have no problem with my snubbies pointing down in my hands.

Not questioning it's utility...but it's one ugly piece of hardware, makes a Glock look darnright purdy....Rod

I'd try them if I could find them

Anyone had any luck finding these? The Ergo website says they are out of stock. Let me know if you finf them in stock somewhere.

I think you guys are missing the point. This would fit great in a pocket, where the hardest part to conceal is the grip. You fire it like a phaser. I think there is definitely a market for these if you can still reach the trigger.
