Interesting Comic in Oct Better Homes & Gardens

Fisrt off its a gift subscription from my mother-in-law.
Last page has some comics on it.One caught my attention.
It has two pigs setting inside at a bar. The caption reads "I was young, we were on shore leave,someone said,'Let's get a tattoo,'and the rest is history." The pig has a slot and dollar sign tattooed on him. Now to get to the point-The bar window doesnt have BAR written backwards across it but has NRA,the N and R are backwards.
I'm wondering if the person that drew this is trying to say that NRA members and gun owners are backward,beer guzzling,tattooed pigs
It's on page 276 if anyone cares to look or has the nerve to be seen at the local magazine stand looking at a Better Homes & Gardens.

The letters would be backwards if painted on glass to be read from the outside. The A is symmetrical so it would look the same from either side. In that case, from the street it would read ARN -- maybe the tail end of BARN? I dunno, have not seen the comic, and I'm not buying BH&G just to find out.
