Interdynamic KG-99 Questions

I still do not know why I did this but I just swapped for a vintage "drive by" gun of dubious ancestry. It is marked as a Interdynamic KG-99 9mm Luger with a serial number of 7XXX. It has a threaded barrel, a ventilated barrel shroud and a magazine that must store at least 30 rounds. What is this thing? What is the history and what is it worth? Are they worth fooling around with or should I just take a snap shot of it and send it to Al Gore so that he can lay awake nights and wonder about people like me? KG-99M, a compact version, $250.
KG-9, the un-shrouded version of the KG-99. EXC=$750.

Check to see if it's an open-bolt gun. Some of these are going to be worth more because of the easy convertability to full-auto. Still legal, but BATF halted further production. Also, if it is open-bolt, make sure it hasn't been 'converted' or else you could be in a world of crap.
