Interchangeable uppers for CZ?

Hi again guys. I'm trying not to spend TOO much time ruminating about my newest acqusition, but...
Can CZ 75 uppers (barrel/slide/recoil spring) of different calibers be swapped on the same frame, or is there a problem with the ejector? I'd like to get a .40 S&W or .357 SIG upper for my 9mm CZ, but not if it's dangerous, plagued with problems, or prohibitively costly. If this is possible- where does one get a conversion unit? Can the necessary parts be ordered right from CZ USA? Thanks in advance for your help!

The only conversion I'm aware of is the .22lr Kadet conversion. My guess is that if you owned the .40 or .357 CZ, you could convert it by simply replacing the barrel with the other. For 9mm versions, I doubt if you can go up to .40 or .357 power levels.

The smith at CZ-USA, Mike, should be able to give you the definative answer.

Thanks Destructo6! I'll try to get an answer from the factory, then post the response.

EAA is the brand, Witness is the model that offers swap-tops.

CZ clone from Tanfoglio of Italy.

(I own many, love'em in 9x19, 9x21, 38 Super, 40S&W, 41AE, 45ACP)

That's what I'm after. I know the tanfoglio clones can interchange uppers of various calibers, so it can't be too hard to accomplish the same with the CZ. I'm wondering if CZ offers similar interchangeability with 9mm and .40 S&W/.357 SIG uppers. Thanks!

CZ75s, as Destructo said, are limited in the slide swapping category. You can get a 22 conversion unit, but that's about it. The .40 CZ75 uses a different frame and slide than the 9mm versions. They're beefed up to handle the higher .40 round. I haven't yet seen a 357SIG version nor do I know if there are any barrels in this caliber available.
