Intercepted Messages

The results of the 2004 election send many different messages to many different people. Here are but a few that I've intercepted recently aimed mainly at democrats.

To Michael Moore: Sit down and shut up... And do something about your hair.

To Tom Daschle: If you lean too far to the left, voters will tend to lean right for a while, but will eventually push you out of the boat.

To Al Gore: Please, sir, before it's too late... Seek an experienced mental health professional.

To Dan Rather: Enjoy your early retirement.

To the DNC: Your platform must not have leaned far enough to the left. Keep it moving leftward. Read Marx as a refresher.

To Bill Clinton: Thanks for hitting the campaign trail for Kerry. Some of us needed the reminder of what we were trying to avoid.

To Hillary Clinton: Congratulations, the guy you voted for won.

To the MTV Kidz: Vote or die - or not. Like, whatever, dude.

To John Edwards: Can you give Michael Moore some advice on grooming?

To Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Bono, etc.: We still like your music, but if you ever want to sell another record, keep your leftist politics out of it.

To George Soros: Want to buy an election? Not in *MY* America, you monomaniacal, socialistic buffoon.

To the Mainstream Media: Congratulations on getting Kerry at least thirty more electoral votes than he would have gotten without your (c)overt support. Imagine how bad he would have lost if you were actually unbiased.

To the United Nations: Your worst nightmare will continue for another four years. Deal with it.

To the Exit Pollsters: As long as you keep skewing the results in an attempt to influence the election, we'll keep lying to you. If you quit, so will we. Deal?

To Osama bin Laden: Bring it on, @%$*&$#. What's that? The only attack you can muster now is on videotape? Hmm... No surprise there, I guess.

To the European Union: See message for Michael Moore.

To Terry McAuliffe: See message for Dan Rather

To MoveOn.org: See message for George Soros

And finally, to John Kerry: Thank you for reporting for duty. You are hereby dismissed.

The majority has spoken with a clear & resolute mandate.

Our differences in our political process between Americans and the ability for this country to overcome them and work as One Nation under God is one of our greatest strengths as a nation of free peoples.

As such, we must now focus on those who have set out to destroy our republic and those who enjoy the fruits of our liberty. Our path is righteous, the detractors who sought to distract and obscure this goal, have been seen for what they are.

12-34hom.

To THE BLUES MAN...I have one word for your post....AWESOME.....I will be printing it out to take to work tomorrow. I work with two other Real Estate Appraiser's here on the Texas/Mexico border, both hunters, gun enthusiast, and fellow NRA members. They will get a kick out of your post...AWESOME!!!!

To Dan Rather: Enjoy your early retirement.
Methinks Bagdad Bob could take over for Danny Blabber :D

To Hillary Clinton: Congratulations, the guy you voted for won.
too funny :D Probably 100% true though.

*sigh* ahhh, old age....my wife and I were taking about Hillary and 2008 just about an hour ago..... see what 23 years of marriage and old age does for ya?
Not too long ago, @ ~ 3:30 AM me and "The Amazon Temptress" wouldn't have been talking @ that hour,,,and definatly not about Hillary.... ;)

Things I'm kinda wondering about:

1) Diebold. After reading 'bout how bad their security was, and that they had no paper trail, did electronic voting fraud happen?

2) Bush, while better than Kerry, is still a crap candidate. Free speech zones, extablishing new bureacracies, signing whatever comes to his desk even if he thinks its unconstitutional, and so on. With this election result is it more of the same crap?

It is an ominous sign in itself that nobody cares, Faithless. :)

But if we do that, they will just claim we are sore losers.

Wait.....

We're talking about the Bush admin, right?

Heard a guy call in on talk radio the night of the election to offer a couple of (prophetic) headlines for the following morning:

"Kerry Fails Global Test Due To American Veto!"

And

"Kerry Camoflage Proves Ineffective... Goose Is Cooked!

:D :p

To the Exit Pollsters: As long as you keep skewing the results in an attempt to influence the election, we'll keep lying to you. If you quit, so will we. Deal?

Well, that much is true. Given the level of scientific, statistical know-how that professional pollsters and statistitians have, they know or should know what demos will skew a poll, so their excuse that "too many women" or whatever is to blame for the errors is hogwash. I think there's no other explanation to their errors than bias for Kerry. And if the networks were hiring /using pollsters that didn't have the credentials/ know-how to conduct an accurate exit poll, then I can only conclude that either (a) the networks are incompetent boobs, or (b) they too were choosing pollsters that they knew or thought would probably intentionally skew the exit results.

Vote Fraud?

"1) Diebold. After reading 'bout how bad their security was, and that they had no paper trail, did electronic voting fraud happen?"

As happy as I am to see Bush as the winner I have to admit it's a possibility. A number of people at Democratic Underground are absolutely convinced that Bush couldn't have won without resorting to fraud. They point out that both Florida and Ohio used the Diebold machines and both states voted differently than the exit polls indicated.
When Clinton was President, he was blamed for a lot of bad things. Logically, it's highly unlikely that he actually had a hand in such things as the deaths of Ron Brown or Vince Foster, but there were people around him who certainly could have engineered both events.
Somehow, I find it hard to believe that George Bush would resort to fraud to win an election but again, there are people around him who might.
We will probably never know. In the meantime, let's enjoy the victory and the challenges it will present.

The DU are hardly a crdible source for anything.

As to the exit polls...the demonization of George Bush by the media may have made some people hesitant to admit to voting for him.

I usually avoid exit polls by voting early but I would be likely to tell them none of your business!

OBIWAN,

You may be onto something. When Doug Wilder was elected Governor of Virginia, the exit polls were way off. Apparently, a lot of voters did not want to admit that they had voted for him.
