A couple weeks ago I came across the articles pasted below.
As expected they were basically hit jobs on people that subscribe to services like USCCA Shield and other insurance policies.
The TheStar.com article even goes as far as quoting a law professor blaming victims for not de-escalating confrontations started by bad actors.
It does have some redeeming value although not much.

The Miami Herald article is a lot like the first but with a lot more hysteria.
It's pretty much non stop "guns are bad and owners are evil". It's hardly worth even reading.
