I am happy to note that some innovative ammunition companies actually listen to the experts. I picked this up at the grocery store for $2.49. The load works as advertised, though individual mints tended to keyhole after separating from the wad. All in all, this in an extremely effective load for a small apartment: not only does it eliminate intruders but it also masks the odor they create right after the pump shotgun is racked.

Great post!

But why purchase expensive magnum mints if one can just shoot a frozen
mouse at a burglar? Just think - who would go looking a into a freezer
for a gun? :)
 
When I was younger... I made a "Lego Shotgun Loading" using a Lego Figure. It's ballistics were pretty good. That little lego guy got through a 1/4 Ply Wood Board at the range!

Guess Lego's will be banned too now, huh??

I do think that the Breath Mints idea is cool :D

Tic Tacs work, as does salt. Salt is especially good, because the fumes off it are disabling, and also it stings like hell. Best of all it is not fatal, so you don't have to deal with much blood, or as much hassle/trauma.
