Inline Questions

I've recently acquired a .50 CVA inline and have fired it a few times using 80 grains of Hodgdon RS Pyrodex powder and PowerBelt slugs. If anyone out there could answer a couple of questions I'd really appreciate it:

1. Does the bore need to be swabbed out after every shot?

2. After firing, the center of the primers seem to be bulging from their case -- is this normal?

Thanks,
Jack

1. No , you don't need to swab the bore every time if you are using Powerbelt ammunition , but you do , for optimal accuracy , if you use sabots .

2. I don't know about if that's normal .
