My husband recently inherited this from his father. He can't remember much about it.
Browning 12 G, 28 1/2" barrel. Made in Belgium. engraving on receiver. I'm used to revolvers so don't know where to look on this gun for model information. There are 2 cartouches on the left barrel. one has the # 12-70 inside.
The serial # is 3270**
Let me know if more info is necessary to ID it.
It is in great shape, with clean barrel, no pitting, wood and finish clean. It also is a comfortable shot.

Thanks- Jo

the 12-70 means 12 gauge with 2-3/4 inch chambers - Belgian Brownings are NOT rated for steel

Is this a single barrel or does it have two barrels. (Your comment about having the marks on the left barrel is confusing me - do you mean left SIDE of the barrel?)
