Going strictly on serial number, it would appear to be a .38 Double Action 4th Model, made sometime between 1895 and 1909, probably sometime after 1905 as a guess.
They're not all that rare, and don't really bring much as collector pieces unless they are in pristine shape with box and all accompanying goodies.
