I have an old broken Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. Worchster Mass c. SA
Patented August 6, 1889 October 8, 1895

With 38 CAL S&W CTGE on the side of the barrel

Serial # 86722 on the handle on the butt and on the metal extending over the barrel.

It is a very solid gun but the trigger is broken.

Does anyone have an incling of the date and do you think a gun this old could be repaired?

Thanks,

broken, .38

you might have to send it away,[I don't know were you live] But it doesn't sound serious. Probably a spring or indexing hand. Get out the yellow book and start calling gun repair shops. If they can't do it, chances are they know someone who can. By the way, my neighbor has same gun in .32 caliber that still shoots great. It's worth fixing.
