I've got a Mossberg Model 142-A .22-S-LR.
It does not have a serial number on it, which according to mossbergcollectors.org means it was manufactured sometime between 1930-68. The front of the stock appears to have been a fold-down that I will assume acted as a sort of monopod (it is no longer there).
Is there some way I can narrow down the year of manufacture?
Where could I look to find replacement parts for the stock?
Any other information you could provide would be greatly appreciated! This is one of my favorite rifles and I'd like to have a bit more info on it. Thanks!
