Looking for any info on an interesting revolver my friend bought. We believe it is either Belgian or French. It is chambered around 11mm with an octagon barrel and the only marking is "Acru or Acer Fondu" on the left underside of the barrel. It is a solid frame gun, double action, and boy is it made like a Swiss watch. I would appreciate any info or suggestions.

Best bet is that it's Belgian and uses the Chameligot-Devigne (sp?) lockwork design.

This was a popular lock style used in many double-action European revolvers, including the French Mle. 1873 Ordinance Revolver.

The caliber could conceivably be 11m French.
