L Lavan New member Jun 27, 2000 #1 I heard Saturday that as of Jan 1, 2001 we have to register all guns CAPABLE of holding 20 rounds or more. That would include Mini 14. Does anyone KNOW this to be true? Pls cite source. Thanks

B bullseye New member Jun 27, 2000 #2 Go to the California DOJ website. They have all the info you need. The criteria for registering guns is based on features beyond just a detachable magazine. The mini 14 in it's stock form is not required to be registered.
