Info and opinions on the 7-shot S & W .357

I own a number of S & W revolvers in .357 but have just taken recent notice of the seven round model. Who among you has experience with this gun? The price is $499.00 (stainless 4" barrel) and I don't know if that is, or is not, in the "ball park". Be interested and greatful to hear what you have to say.

Smith N' Wesson 686 +'s,

sell for $459.95 in central Alabama. I believe
$499.00 is a tad too high.:(:D

Same as the regular 686, but one extra shot. They are fine guns. S&W also have an "Air-lite" gun out now similiar to the 686. Only weighs 18 oz. Carrying concealed may make a difference for you. It's called model 386PD.:)

That price is a good one if it is the "Mountain Gun" model - a limited run with the light tapered 4" half-lug barrel. If its the standard 4" full-lugged bull barrel then it's high by at least $100.

Thanks for the info and input!

I sure find this kind of information and input helpful as I make my gun purchasing choices. Thanks to all! Good shooting!:)
