Indy 1500 gun show meet?

Use to live there many moons ago. My brother still does. Had no idea the 1500 was happening already. May have to take you up on it. Won't know for a day or two.
 
I will be there on Sat around 12:00. I am getting a hairtrim on at 10:00. I was going to Houston Astrohall, a MUCH bigger show with better prices, but I am in Austin this weekend and did not want to fly down next weekend too. Let's meet up.
 
Okay, I'm a jackass. I've got it sorted out this time. The NRA hi-power shoot is Sunday at 10 am. I can give directions if you want to do it, as it is open. So I guess I'll go to the 1500 after all on Sat. What time you going, I was thinking in the 11:30 range? I am meeting some others from the Frugal Squirrel board, the more the merrier. Sim Jr
 
Okay, back to Sat. I will be there right after the hair appointment, about 11-11:30. The only place I know to meet is in front by the stairs to the lower level on the side closest to the entrance. I am not too hard to spot. I have straight light brown hair and I will leave my hair down, it goes almost to my elbows, so I will be easier to spot. I will wear black denim shorts, khaki t-shirt, black mid-hi boots, glasses.
 
The consession area is a good spot but way too crowded because they run the tables right up to it, plus you have the people in line getting stuff. The reason I suggested the stairs was because it is relatively open, no tables blocking the stairs and nothing to lure people to them.
 
What? No one has a TFL T Shirt?

I'm tied up Saturday at a day long BSA (Boy Scouts) Commissioner Training session so I'll not make it to the 1500. I'm not sure the old buggy can make the round trip right now any way. But, I'll be with you in spirit. Happy evil gun showing.

I'll go with the stairs at 11:30. I'll wear a blue botton down with tropical design on it. Sorry, that's the tackiest thing I own...Might bring a simonov sign too. See ya'll there...
 
Can anyone give me an idea where the show is located? I think the Fairgrounds, but am not sure. Thanks.

Starts at 10 am. Often there's a line. We need to get together and keep in touch. I'm about to join the mid-IN RKBA group forming in Indy, why don't ya'll consider it? Details on another thread I posted here today. Sim jr
 
Well???? Did any of you nattily dressed gun nuts get to the 1500 today. I was good and now I'm all trained to help save sick scout units while you guys were off indulging in evil gun shows! At Least I got a chance to check out the latest gun reports from the Council Scout Executive. He's another gun bubba. Had a copy of the news report from Georgia about the expelled Eagle Scout but that belongs in another thread. Nothing new there anyway. We heard it all here days ago.

How about a report?

I was there at the appointed time in my natty blue tropical shirt. A few smokers loitered outside on the stairs, no TFL'ers in sight. The show was cool, got some ammo. Maybe we can meet at the Mid-Indy RKBA meeting kicking off at Eagle Creek on the 15th...
