Indy 1500 - Anyone else gonna be there?

I searched and didn't find another thread for this so .....

Anyone going to the Indy 1500 this weekend? It's in the Marsh South Pavilion this time. I'll be at the SAFE table or at Marvin Scott's table. Who else is gonna be there? Hopefully there will be no replays of the Tulsa Show or the January 1500. :D

I'll be there at least one day. Need to pick up a case of 9mm.

Later,
Chris

I will be there most of the day on Sat. Won't be buying anything, between Indiana and federal gun laws I am not allowed to, but I can still look at all the neat stuff. I spoke to Mark Westrom, the owner of ArmaLite, and he is going to try to get a couple of tables for the show. If you need a great AR type rifle check out ArmaLite.

What happened at the January 1500????? I wasn't here for it.

An elderly guy, who had handled firearms all his life, somehow managed to blow most of his left hand off in the parking lot on the last morning of the January 1500. A police officer and a range officer were both standing there watching him when he did it, and they said they couldn't figure out how it happened.

I always go to the 1500 on Sat, usually about 10-11 am. I'll bet they check everyone real close for loaded guns. I spend most of my time loading up on reloading stuff at the A-Z Reloading Supply tables.

Going to try to get there on Saturday. They should really provide shopping carts.

Hoping to get a rifle this time out and maybe a revolver.

Hope to see you all.

Hey blueyedog say hi to art and coleen for me. Tell them they are missed here.

I thought that I would be able to make it over but now it doesn't look like it will happen. Keep us posted on when the next one will be and I'll put it in the planner now.

Hope to get their Saturday too. Cash strapped so more in looking than buying mode. A little ammo maybe. ;)

I'll be on the lookout for TFLers. I've got my TFL cap (if I don't forget it).

Sounds like there will be a lot of us wandering around the 1500 on Saturday. I'll be on the lookout for TFL shirts and hats.

1200 might be tough. We'll work on it.
If not, look for a guy with a black-and-red courier's bag.

Since I'll be at the SAFE table, meeting there is great. I'd tell you all where it would be located, but since we're in a different building this time, I haven't a clue.

Greg - the next 1500 will be January 19, 20, & 21.

Hoosierboy - Colleen sent me an e-mail last week and every time I reply it just bounces back saying the account is closed. I even went to their site and used that one, but no joy. What's up?

Sorry, can't make it. Long ways to go with no $$$. Still waiting on my reimbursement check from Firestone for 5 Cooper tires! That check goes for a new Taurus titanium for the sweetie!

Might got to the Nappannee gun show though.

What's "Safe"?
I'll be at the 1500 around noon on Sat, I'll walk past the "Safe" Table. Is there an "UnSafe" Table also? If so I think I'll avoid it. :)

SAFE - Second Amendment For Everyone

And yes, sometimes we're "un-safe" ... unsafe for antis to hang around us too long. ;) See ya there.
