Increased capacity Mauser magazine

Where did you find a mauser that accepts a detachable magazine??

Is it sporterized, or stock?

If stock, I don't see how it can be done, though I have seen those trench gun mausers that had 20 round magazines, but those were in a "shotgun news" magazine, so I don't know how reliable that info is.

There's no way to make the 5 round internal mag accept more ammo without making it a detachable box magazine set up. There are some 3, and 5 round detachables out there for mauser rifles, but they are expensive. If you want. Go over to mausercentral.com and poke around there. But as to a 10 round internal (blind) mag... Impossible. There's not enough room, and a bubbled out floor plate wouldn't work unless you could machine feed lips to line up with the imternal feedlips that are machined all the way through the action of the m96 and m98. Could in therory be done I guess, but would invole tons of .$$ and would look ugly IMHO.

You have to go and get one of the infamous "trench magazines" like the one used here.
They were manufactured sometimes in the 80's, their actual use in WWI or II is disputed.
