In Search of the Holy Sig 220 Stainless...

As I was visiting the den of Ali Baba (my friendly local firearms dealer) who was conspiring with Mrs. Ali Baba (about the size of forty thieves), I inquired about the cost of a new Sig 220 Stainless. I had read that the MSRP was going to be in the mid $800 range. When the head thief quoted me a price of $1049, I almost went running for the safety of my car. Am I imagining that this is a total rip-off, or has anyone else had a price like this quoted for this pistol?

You should be able to find them in the mid $800 range if not lower,,I saan one in my local shop for $860 but he has never been the best as far as prices go. The price he quoted you is insane but people will buy it.

I'm sure that $1049 is the be-the-first-guy-on-your-block-to-have-one price. It'll come down eventually.
