In search of a new holster or modding advice

So my carry gun is a Berreta 92FS and the holster I am currently using is a IWB hybrid holster offered on beretta usa. I will probably continue to use it due to its comfort and ease of draw. My only issue with it is training at the range with is incredibly uncomfortable due to the barrel not being covered when reholstering. As a result, I have a hot barrel pressed against my body which doesn't exactly help me focus. I'm looking for either a similar holster for the purpose of training or advice on modifying the one I already have.

Can't imagine how uncomfortable that hybrid thing would be. However, if you're going to continue using it for carry you really need to practice with it and your carry ammo.
There are lots of OWB holsters with a similar forward slant though. You thinking similar price? Cheaper Than Dirt shows a SERPA Sportster holster that runs $30 that's very similar. Their Item #HST-1001-240
