In Praise of the Tikka

Boy's and Girls, I just got my new Tikka master sporter in .308 up and running. What an awesome rifle! I am shooting .5 to .25 MOA using Federal match ammo. For less than a Remington 700 you get a bull barrel adjustable trigger and adjustable stock, and incredible accuracy out of the box! If you are in the market for a tack driver and don't have a few K to drop, check this thing out. Comments welcome.

Jeffa,

What type optics are you using. I hope to be getting a M595 in 308 also. Did you purchase yours new or used.

Thanks

A Springfield 2nd gen 4X14. So far I've been pretty impressed with it also. The BDC seems very accurate with the 168grn bthp Fed match ammo out to 400 yards (the farthest I've shot it) If you get one spend the extra cash on the tikka/sako Optilock rings they are outstanding.

Tikka is on my short list of guns to be on the look out for. I've saved up a little bit of gun money and I haven't quite figured out what to spend it on. I'm hoping to find a good deal on a Tikka in .308, or perhaps a Sako TRG/s. Congrats on a great purchase. Got to love those Finns. :)
