In & outs of Aluminum bedding block?

I've pillar bed almost all my bolt rifles trying for the perfect marriage of wood to metal fit. So how does this work?

Once installed is the fit as good as glass? Does the block get glass (pillar?) bedded to the stock? Will this work for a model 7 single shot action build?

It works by installing into the stock and providing all the benefits of pillar bedding with fewer flex points.

Once installed the fit is as good as glass, depending on who did the glass job.

The bedding block gets glass bedded into the stock, it is a permanent install.

That model will not work with a Rem Model 7 action due to screw spacing.
