For those of you who get the monthly issues of the Blue Press, published by Dillon Precision, I suggest that you read on page 10, Will John Kerry Win? Only If We Let Him! For those who do not get The Blue Press, try to borrow a copy.

While I find President Bush to be problematic in several ways, concerning gun rights and or The Second Amendment, it appears that Kerry-Edwards would be a dead loss for our side, if not worse than that.

The article made me wonder what the title to his 2000 article was . . . he alludes that it troubled readers who didn't like strong language. Made me really curious. I got The Blue Press back then, but I don't remember a strong title. Shows how insensitive I am, I guess. :)

IF it's the article I'm thinking of, and

IF I remember correctly - and I don't guarantee either - the article was entitled "If You Don't Vote Your Gun Rights, You SUCK!" or something very similar. I believe the author was Massachusetts refugee Peter Caroline, who often contributes articles to TBP.

However, we live in a complex world with many issues; taxes, immigration, education, and the environment to name just a few. Being a "one-issue" voter usually means ignoring equally pressing concerns. ;)

Numbert 6:

Re your observation regarding "single issue voters", you might be right. Having said that, the following also comes to mind.

Given that we each have our own "penny", cannot it be spent as the individual sees fit, for the possibility or the "beauty" of what might be missed does lie in the eye of the beholder, doesn't it?

Your vote, your "penny," your call...

But, just like your allowance, if you spend it all on gum /candy/soda you won't be able to buy the fire truck/comics/water pistol. ;)
