I've had a M5000 for about two years. It is imported by IAI (Isreali Arms International)not IMI.
It is a tight gun and shoots well with fully interchangable 1911 parts. The rubber grip is comfortable. I shoot it with my friend who has both a Wilson Combat and a Les Baer. While the finish can't match either of those. The results aren't all that different. It is a good deal at $350 compared to some of the $700+ 1911's.
