IMI Link??

And if you're looking to buy IMI pistols in the US than check out www.magnumresearch.com Real bargains are out there on IMI pistols. Two shows ago a dealer had NIB full size models, two factory preban mags, Hesco night sights, and all accessories for $350. As usual I was a day late and a dollar short. Argh!

Thanks for the info, now I'm more confused than ever! Can someone straighten me out on IMI?

Under the line http://www.imi-israel.com/imi/doa_iis.dll/Serve/level/English/1.1.2.1.html they list a line of military weapons as well as the Jericho Pistol (CZ-75??). As well as the Galil and Uzi.

The website http://www.israelarms.com/pistols6k.html
lists a number of 1911 clones-these were the ones I was looking for. Any word on these guns and what the going rate is? MSRP less than $500. They look appealing from the website.

Magnum Research lists their Desert Eagle and Baby Eagle line, but in a quick look I didn's see a mention of IMI. (could be there, didn't look for too long). Does IMI make the guns under the Magnum Research name?

Thanks for any info.

Magnum Research is the importer of the Israeli made Desert Eagles and the joint Tanfoglio/IMI (Israeli Military Industries) pistols. The latter have been sold under different names such as Jericho, Baby Eagle and UZI Baby Eagle. They're basically Tanfoglio derivatives of the CZ75, with the exception that they're finished in Israel and have a full length frame and slide unlike the CZ75/Witness pistols whose frames taper before the muzzle.

Israel Arms imports the 1911 line of pistols, and they used to import the Kareen (a clone of the HiPower). I don't know much about the BULs, sorry. I'm positive that IMI doesn't make them. It's another company not related to IMI.

If you find anything out about the M-2000 1911 A-1 0.45 ACP please post it. I'm looking for a stock 1911 and this one looks good.

Telecote, I'll post a new topic on that one. Still curious myself, the IAI website isn't very informative. I've e-mailed them asking for literature. I'm hoping these compare well with the Tanfolgio's, I've got a Witness and think it's a heck of a gun for the price.
