IMCS #3 Prize list grows....

While here at the DU festival, I have been able to nail down some floating commitments for prize donations to the Third Annual Irlene Mandrell Celebrity Shoot. Most of these prizes (except the knives) will be given away in a relatively Random manner, based on raffle tickets, entries to events, etc.... So ANYONE at the event stands a good chance of winning.. getting most of these things has nothing to do with your shooting skill.

here's some highlights:

12 Chuck Stapel Custom Knives

Clark Custom Ruger 10/22
Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon shotgun
2 S&W L Frame revolvers
1 Glock of the winners choice
4 of S&W's new co2 adult air pistols
Remington Special Edition 11-87 (Nickel Reciever)
Assorted Galco Holsters
Ammo by the case

THESE ARE NOT AUCTION ITEMS, our auction will feature several special items as well, most of them unique and celebrity related.

Like I said, those are some of the highlights. We anticipate having less than 150 shooters. Last year with 100 shooters we gave away over $20,000 in prizes.

Add a Ruger firearm to the list, some Nikon Optics, and a myriad of gun and accessory cases from manufacturers including Plano and Avery.

Anyone out there who would like to donate anything to the event can Email me. Donations from companies (manufacturers, retailers, distributors, etc..) reaching at least $500 will recieve an ad in the program.. (see the sponsor packages at the website...), but all donations wil be acknowledge in our program.
I know there are several manufacturers and retailers who particpate and lurk here.. I'd love to hear from you...

Turns out that The S&W Revolvers will be a 4" 586 and a 6" 686.

We will also have three Horton Crossbows to give away, as of a few moments ago, and They will be running a Crossbow Side event, designed to introduce people to the use and effectiveness of this weapon.

I am associated with an event in LAs Vegas this September.. but they aren't really letting me do much in the way of planning.. They are going to have some cool prizes, but it is going too be much too ritzy of an event for my taste.
Black Tie Dinners and $10,000 sponsors are great for raising money for charity, but they aren't much for FUN shoots that introduce people to shooting in general, or a new kind of shooting.
That Event is billed as the 1st Annual Rio Hotel & Casino Celebrity Trap Shoot.

IMCS exists as much to promote shooting and family outdoors fun as it does to raise money for any charity.. probably more, actually.
