So there I was, minding my own business in my local gun shop. I casually mention to my friend the store owner," Man, I wish I could get my hands on a Smith model 66... I hear they aren't being made anymore." He didn't say much because we were transacting a deal on a Taurus 851 titanium. (another story) So I get a call 3 days later and he says your 66 will be here in the morning if you want it. So I try to figure out what I have to trade... the one I love the most... Ruger sp-101 3". I love it, but they are still being made. So I made the trade at 5:00 today. He gave me $275 for the ruger and I only gave $100 more in cash plus tax. This revolver is NIB ! So that's why I'm happy. I love the K frames. Somethin' about them just makes me smile....
