I used to live in KC and thought the KC Star, although liberal leaning, to be a pretty decent paper. Especially compared to the St. Louis Post Dispatch. Then a couple of years ago, a senior editor died and the Star went down, down ,down. The news sections shrunk and the editorial page leaned so far to the left it tipped over. So I was basically stunned when I found this on their webpage.
 
Good article but I am really getting sick of hearing about the MMM. What are those things that horses wear so they only see straight ahead? (blinds?) That is what I picture, a few thousand women with these things on walking and passing out more blinds. :rolleyes:
