Im scared. Cant find any more high caps for my AR

THis is weird. All the usual places i go to to purchase the regular (high) capacity mags for my AR are all out. I also checked and they are all out of AK, AR, HK, and several other types of magazines. Also, ammo defenitly seems to be going out the door with all my normal brands.

What is going on. Is there something oing on that i don't know about.:confused: .

I live in Kali, so I haven't paid attention to the mag inventories ... but ammo does seem to be on the scarce side. My usual vendors are out and those that have any mil-surp seem to have reduced inventories ... I have attributed it to the 9-11 attacks, but I fail to draw the natural connection ... like really, what are ya gettin ready to shoot? :rolleyes: Anyway ... I imagine it will pass.

Are you looking for factory or cheapos?

I picked up some cheap ones on one of the online auctions. I haven`t looked lately though as I got lucky and found some factory used at a gunshow.
 
Try the For Sale forums at ak47 or ar15.com. Just picked up some 99%- USGI 30 rndrs. for $15 ea. including the shipping.
 
Plenty of both here in Indiana. Both at shows and at Wallyworld.

It shouldn't have anything to do with 9-11, but people are idiots. Same reason they're buying gas masks with expired filters that won't stop nerve or blister agent anyway...
 
When all else fails, go the the Equipment Exchange at AR15.com. There are mags of all condition and price, depending on your needs.

Hmmm. We just had a TFL member sell four thirty-rounders and three twenty-rounders for a total price of $35 including shipping. I pay that much for a new Colt factory thirty-rounder in the orginal package, just for fun.

The mags are out there; you just have to look for them.
 
Ammoman has some. I just bought 5 Colt 20-rders last week. Came within the week, no problems.
