I dropped by my gunsmith's shop today and had him remove the trigger guard and backstrap from my 5 1/2 " .45 Colt New Frontier, the one recently shortened. Promptly mailed them off to Sack Peterson for making/fitting a pair of stag grips.

Now the wait.

can't wait to see it... I'm having a #2 S&W cosmetically enhanced locally ( the 1st time I've gone all out on a master blue & etc. work done... been twice the time they told me it would be... starting to get anxious the vintage MOP gold medallion grips laying on my work bench are getting lonely...

BILL... if you're needing work to do... I always have something in need of cosmetic work... I have a very good machinist / gun smith, but he doesn't do cosmetic work... so I have several guns in need of metal finish, or better grips

Sack has some nice grips, a nice pair of stag grips will add a lot of class to an already classy revolver.
