This scope is attached to a custom built BSA Martini Cadet chamberd to 22Hornet and comes with a proof target with a 7/8ths group shot at 110yds. The scope is an Unertl Varment model, slightly shorter (19.5") than the 2ft long target scopes. It appears to be a 10X and the optics are excellent, but it has one feature that I've never encounterd before, a bullet drop/rangefinder reticle, the horizontal crosshair in the scope is double and the top hair appears to adjust for varying heights, so is probably a range/bullet drop calculating device. Once the weapon and it's attached scope and mounts are clear of California's 11day waiting period...I'll be able to shoot it and eventually figure the sights out - but, if in the meantime, someone in these forums has experience with these excellent old externally adjusted scopes, I'd really like to hear your input and experiences.
