especially the revised A5 and the B725. I'm also afraid I'll be getting the checkbook out for one or both!! The 725 really looks interesting with it's lighter barrels, low profile, but non Cynergy receiver, and the new mechanical triggers. It's suggested retail price is also lower than the current 625 by almost $800 bucks. But, the new A5 could be the real sleeper!

Like you said, we'll see. The 725 seems to ape Berettas a bit. The A5 monicker kinda makes me suspect it's an attempt to trade on the brand.

We'll see. If I run across either I will sing out...
 
Slugo, As long as you have the checkbook out you can buy one for me and I will rent the Easter Bunney suit. Where did you see a picture of the 725. BigJim alerted me the other day that it was coming out. Of course, like Dave said, the A5 is an attempt to trade on the reputation of a classic.

It is. It's a completely different design, with only the name and a few styling cues in common with the classic A5.

Bear in mind that when Browning publishes its catalog, it's a list of what they plan on releasing sometime during the year. Don't expect to see the guns in the store on January first.

the revised A5 will be a vastly improved gun over the original, other than the engraving and pretty screws of the past. The 725 will be a winner from both a price point and new and improved features. List on the 725 Sporter will be $3199 which makes it $800 less than the current 625. Two guns I'm really looking forward to... :)
