I'm a real idiot

I didn't miss 1 good buy at the show today. I missed 2!

My buddies were with me and were being really whiney about e stopping to look at anything other then Ak47s. 2 times, I let them tell me not to spend "tahat much!" on a gun until I see the rest of the show.

First Miss: Wilson Kz45 Tactical Carry. This thing was NIB with 1 7 round mag. The guy wanted $700 for it! I wrote down the isle number of the table as I was dragged off by my friends. I went back later to buy the gun, and could not find the table.

Seond Miss: HK P7M8. Gun was 95-97% Condition. Original, non-refurb gun. came with 1-8 round mag. The guy wanted $725 for it! I was once again dragged away. When I went back, the gun had already been sold.

Next time, I will just let them walk off and leave. I drove anyways and would been perfectly fine. I learned a great lesson about hesitation.

After missing those deals, I didn't really see another gun I wanted. Nothing else was that good of a deal. I ended up leaviing with 5 more hi-cap mags for my Beretta and 2-7 round mags for my PPKS. Also picked up Galco Deep Cover IWB rig. Also found a hell of a deal on a very very nice custom slip joint folding knife. I will just save up the cash I was going to spend this time, and see if I can find deals anywhere close to the ones I missed today in April when the big show comes back to town.

Don't we all do that...more than once?

…I learned a great lesson about hesitation…

…That’s why I always go to gun shows alone. I'm not there to look at guns, I'm there for business…

I was under the impression that I was alone in this, I see I am not. And yes I learned the hard way too, and then I practiced some more…
;)

Enlighten me on the 'Wilson Kz45 Tactical Carry'. I thought that all the Wilson KZ series had a 10 round capacity.

Either way, that's a heck of a good price for one that's NIB.

Son,

You are correct. It was a 10 round magazine. And yes, it was a damn good deal. So was the P7M8. I guess i will just have to wait until the show comes back in April to try again. I definately will not put off any deal that good until later this next time.

Don't be too hard on yourself. Like my old man said, "there is always a better deal." You feel like you missed an opportunity but be patient and it will come again.

I just tell my friend where I plan on meeting them at a certain time and then I ditch them. :D

$750 for the Wilson! That is an amazing deal.

All I can say is, Duuuude!

$700 for a Wilson KZ? I thought I got a great deal @ $900 including paddle holster & single mag carrier!

The last gun show I went to in CA really sucked. It was two weekends ago in N. CA. (TS Gun Show)

I was hoping to run into some out-of-work techies looking to unload some toys. There wasn't even ammo being sold by the case.
