This is a tough question because I want at least one of everything! ;)
1- (Another) Fn Fal
2- A Super Match M1A
3- Barrett M82A1
4- Browning M2
5- McMillan/Tubbs Match rifle (See previous thread)

------------------
Screw the Anti's!!

1) Original Kurz Mauser in 250/3000 Savage
2) Original Magnum Mauser in 375 H&H Magnum
3) Holland & Holland Best Double Rifle in
470 Nitro Express (Might as well dream
big)
4) Kimber 84 Super America in 222 Rem.
5) Dakota Varmint in 22-250 Rem.

I have to admit that I am only shopping for one - a heavy magazine rifle. Prefer something in a CRF .45 caliber.

I have to admit that picking up (handling) a Krieghoff .470 is on my "no" list. I'm worried that if I hold one, I'm gonna want one.

ONLY 5??

hmmmmm

1. CRF Magazine rifle in 375 H&H with QD Scope mount, leaning towards CZ or Winchester model 70. An all over the world hunting rifle.

2. Springfield M1A NM Just because people keep saying what a robust and accurate "sport utility" rifle this is.

3. William Douglas & Sons .470 nitro express double rifle (yeah well IF I win the lotto) Chisel engraved, coin finished hand checkered 28 lines per inch and dark figured wood. I'd settle for an older H&H or Purdey of course. ;)

4. some sort of Pre-ban colt sporter/car-15, not sure why, I've only fired a few, but they were fun to shoot at least. i'd prefer the 11.5 inch bbl with the 5.5 inch long flash suppressor and collasping stock. Either that or another AK.. maybe a real russian one.

5. Since we are dreaming.. I'd love to own a rifle with some historical significance.. say an 1895 lever action winchester that Teddy Roosevelt took to africa.. or a rifle owned by sitting bull or something, like Clyde Barrow's BAR, a Winchester M70 owned by Carlos Hathcock, maybe a brown bess musket from bunker hill...

These "what ifs" are always so hard for me.. cause i really don't imagine I'll ONLY buy 5.. hahahah.

1. HK PSG-1
2. Barrett M82A1
3. M2 Heavy Machine Gun (full Auto please)
4. GE MiniGun
5. Phalanx Anti-Missile System (Now if I can only find 20mm reloading dies...)
6. Dagnabit, he said only 5. Well, for #6 I would try and get one of those 16" guns off the USS Missouri. (I know those prariedogs 23 miles away are laughing at me. Time to teach them a lesson!) :D

Reality check: I would be quite happy with just my 1st choice. I would be very afraid if anybody could privately own a CIWS or 16" naval gun.
