If you could only.....

Here's a question for my fellow TFL'ers and maybe a little fun to boot.

If you could only have one holster, what style would it be? IWB, Slide, tuckable, snap, open top, horsehide, cowhide etc?

The maker is not important, just the style.

Let's see what we get.

Mine would be a bikini style slide in HH. Reasoning, I have different barrel lengths of the same style gun (Glock 23 and 27).

Mark,
Urban setting … the belt slide will do it for me. I think that they are easy to conceal, comfortable for all day wear and relatively fast on the draw. I like strong side, open top, 15 deg forward cant, and of course Kydex. Tough call though as I like so many.

I will have to go with a simple pouch holster for my 1911. No safety strap, it holds the pistol so the leading edge (corner) of the left grip is at the top of the belt line, it has a slight FBI rake, the trigger is covered but I can get a good grip on the pistol. I have been using this style holster for over 30 years. The original was made by Andy Anderson and the current one was made by Lou Alessi. Both of these makers were and are true gentlemen and artists in leather.

For my needs, the IWB all the way. Cowhide by Milt Sparks. They are the most concealable and convenient to use due to the pull the dot snaps, on and off pretty quickly if needed. Comfort level is fine for up to about 8 hrs.
