If there is a better trigger than an STI 2011, I don't know what it is...

Aside from a remarkable, clean, crisp trigger that breaks as you think it, the reset is practically nothing. Lightened slide and a full length dust cover and your sights barely move between shots as well. <envious sigh>

I have a custom STI 2011. While the trigger on it is excellent, I like the one on my Sig X-Five a tad better. In fact, I compared both of these triggers to the one on my Belgian Hi-Power. The X-Five and 2011 are the winners of this 3-way contest, but the X-Five wins overall in my little trigger likeability contest.:)

My X-Five is consistently more accurate than my 2011 at longer distances. This may be due to the X-Five being a 9mm and the 2011 a .45. The STI has a custom slide with compensated Schuemann barrel. The Barrel has the sight mounted directly on it, not on the slide. Either way, these are my two most accurate pistols!

Here's a picture of my 2011 with Schuemann barrel (not a great photo)
