lets try 2 keep this simple and post lots of pictures, heres what i would choose


Rifle: ak-47... battle proven, ammo readily available. reliability

Shotgun: mossberg 590 a1 in 12 guage of course. also military proven reliable and ammo readily avalible.

pistol: colt 1911 .. no explaining needed
 
Home defense with a rational scenario is okay, but that's already been done a gazillion times. A major problem is that not everybody lives in an apartment or in a suburb or out in rural areas, and all the scenarios are different...
