If I sell a Beretta 92......how much?

I'm thinking about listing my Beretta 92F for sale...and I'm not sure quite how much to ask for it. Very little finish wear (a little on the barrell, and a bit on the locking block - Slide/frame are perfect), factory wood grips, 15 round mag, hogue finger-groove grips.

How much do you folxx think I should ask?

You can look at gunsamerica.com, gunbroker.com, auctionarms.com, etc., and get a feel of what people are willing to pay. From what I see / recall, one can get a new 92 with 2 10 rnd mags for about $480. The high cap mags can bring it up about $20-$40 each. Some people like the original factory box, so you may need to knock a couple $ off if you don't have it any longer.
Sorry I can't be of more specific help -- I have never sold any of my firearms as of yet.

That is a VERY nice gun. Why are you selling it? Unless I was forced to, I would hold onto a Beretta 92. ;)

Ahaaz, is it an Italian Beretta or a US Beretta?

The Italian will be worth a couple bucks more (better finish)

The weopon alone - @ $300 - $350

Mags @ $20.00 for the hi caps

IMHO

It depends on your location. Check shows in your area, and shops if you can, to get an idea of the fair market value. I know that guns around here have gone up in value lately, and I haven't even been to a show lately!

If it's a 92SB, it will be worth less than the 92FS, and since you said it has the wood grips I imagine it's the 92SB.

Check Six.

$300 - $350. I believe that anything above that is optimistic as suggested, or sold to a friend who doesn't know any better or does it to do you a favor. $450 isn't too far from a new 92FS.

Going rate on Gunsamerica.com seems to be in the mid-$400 range...thinking if I price it a bit lower it'll go a lot quicker, 'cuz there're a whole bunch of 'em on there at the moment.....

CZ, I do like the gun, but I'm itching for a .45...and I'll still have my wife's Italian 92F.

Adventurer, it's neither SB nor FS....it's a 92F.
