If anyone wants to buy me an early Christmas gift...

This would certainly qualify!

I don't think I've ever seen a one of these in anything even remotely approaching a condition this fine.

And the box is just the icing on the cake!

I love this line from the box...

"The cartridges for these pistols are reloadable. Simple and convenient reloading tools furnished to order; also primers."

And, it looks as if they were practicing "germanic capitalization" back then, as well. GGGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

At that price I will remain with the ugly step-sister I already have, but she really is very good looking.

No they aren't,,,

Remember a Credit card is your friend.

No they aren't,,,
They are evil!

There's a S&W Model 45 on GunBroker,,,
I have a clean credit card that I keep for emergencies.

I could use it to get my "grail gun",,,
But I know that as soon as I did,,,
A real emergency would arise.

No, guns on credit is a black hole waiting to happen.

Or not,,,
It's just my opinion. :o

Seems a bit excessive. I bought mine on GB about 2 1/2 mos. ago for $950.00 on a buy-it-now.

Life is short. That is a beautiful pristine revolver. It is only money.
Ive got a whole passel of H&R and Iver Johnson break-tops I have never shot because they are so damn neat.

Hello gyvel,,,

You own a S&W Model 45?

I am green with envy. :D

Now you're just rubbing it in. ;)

But seriously,,,
I could have purchased a nice one back in 2010,,,
It went in a Buy It Now for (I think) $675.00.

I hesitated at the crucial moment and lost out in the bidding spree.

I might pay the $1,495.00 that they are asking if I had it in disposable cash.

But I can't justify putting even a third of that on plastic.

There lies Madness!

A credit card is very much like a gun.

In responsible hands and used properly, a credit card can be a very useful, even lifesaving, tool.

Used improperly, they can wreak havoc.
