If a Mateba failed to cycle?

I've got a question about those Mateba auto revolvers.

If it were to fail to cycle due to a bad load or whatever, what would happen? Would it just remain in DA mode for the next round? Or would the trigger not rotate the cyl after failing to cycle?

You'd just shoot it DA.

Haven't had a hiccup, but then I haven't bothered with .38's in the thing, either.

Ugly truth:

It locks up. Trigger, cylinder, hammer.

Easy fix:

"rack the slide" - in my experience, 100% it is a fail to finish cycling on the blow side of town, so as strange as it may sound, grab the barrel and press it backwards, let it return on its own just like a slide.

Not a big deal. Call it an FTRTB.
