I've been thinking about going to a match just to watch so I can see what all is entailed and how everything works but not sure were to go. I live close to Savannah GA can anyone help?

you can check for matches on

find a local gun range/club and ask if they have IDPA matches there. that's what i did. love it.

Worth a mention:
Before going to a match, download and thoroughly read the pertinent rule book.
Most are free to download from the national web sites.
