IDPA Mag carrier question

Are the Safariland 773 mag carriers legal for competition use? I would like to use this as part of my rig. Currently it consists of the WIB with the Shooters insert, A fobus paddle holster carrying a SW 4013TSW, and no mag carriers.... I have also heard good things about the BladeTechs..

The similiar 771 is banned, but the 773 is probably too new to have attracted official IDPA notice. Given that it is listed as a 'competition' mag pouch, I suspect it will be banned at the first opportunity.

E-mail Tom King at IDPA HQ for a ruling.
