Yep, more rules in the oh-so-tactical not-a-game of IDPA.
Excuse me, but I'll keep using my Redhawks in IPSC. And my optic-rod/ghostring 1911 (Caspian, of course), and OH! WAIT! I can use my 9mm Witness! But I can only load 10 rds? (I could play -same frame- 41AE) Nah...........
Simmer down, John...my highly accurate, precision machined, modern configuration revolver is a real CCW gun and not just a competition "poodle shooter".
(John is still stinging for the "whuupin" he got on stage one of our last match where my "he-man" revolver scored a 17.02 and his "poodle shooter", highly modified, competition-only 40 cal 1911 "wonder-gun" only managed a 17.81 !)
Hey Ricky...your shooting revo at the Nats this year, aren't you??
What happened on that third stage Mikey, my highly modified, competition-only 40 cal 1911 "wonder-gun" shot a 7.41 vs your 9.18 with that highly accurate, precision machined, modern configuration revolver. Hummmmmmn?
Isn't that the stage where you had your fastest-ever-recorded reload with that "bottom stuffer" while I, on the other hand, managed to trip over an exposed tree root and fell to the earth (while maintaining complete control of my beloved revolver) ? If I recall correctly, I then righted myself, checked for debris in my revolver while performing a tactical reload, borrowed a towel from a member of the gallery to dust off my shooting attire, and then finished the stage with only 1 point down....Yeah, that's the ticket...I remember it just like that. I told my wife...uuuuhhh...Morgan Fairchild, all about it when I got home....Yeah, that's it.
Mikey,
Your revo is a real heman blaster weighing in at 52 ounces. I'm glad you were able to hold on to that mini sledge hammer when you tripped. Had any good Eye-taliun dinner lately?
No I won't be shooting any gamer round gun at the Nat. Sold all the Russian Roulette devices. I'll be using a Ken Hackathorn 1911.
